If they are successful in being offered a position with us YOU will receive a $20 dollar voucher. When your referral reaches their 6 month service with us, YOU will receive a $100 voucher. Offer to June 30th 2015.
Team Initiative.
There is so much happening in our lives and work is a big part of it. So we want to know how we can stay connected with you and ensure you are enjoying your work. If you would be interested in being part of a focus group that meet monthly and come up with ideas and solutions to help us stay in touch with you, I want you on my team. I am asking any staff members who work 15 or more hours per week who would like to be on the committee to please let me know. We will meet each month for one hour and we will have set topics to discuss and come up with ideas. I am looking for care Professionals across all four territories, so please let me know if you are interested. Once we have the Committee together I will advise date, time etc. Look forward to catching up.
I am pleased to advise that we have partnered with Macquarie Business Training centre as out RTO who will now be supported us to deliver the Certificate III and IV in Aged care and disability services.
Macquarie Business Training centre has many years experience delivering courses within the community. Macquarie Training Centre has staff that can assist you in all your enquiries around the changes to legislation regarding fees for payment etc. Please feel free to look at their website www.macquarie.nsw.edu.au or to learn more about fees that may apply to you. Then sign in with your username and password. If you have forgotten password, please press “forget password”.
Head office will send you an email and ensure you have renewed your password.
Also texting the office when you are running late, not able to fill a service is UNACCEPTABLE. You must phone the office. We are unable to see texts prior to 8am and after 5pm.
Transporting Clients with Care.
Taking a client out in your car is very much appreciated. For many clients this is a vital service which enables them to stay connected to the community, enjoy social activities and attend professional and medical appointments.
Whether these services are a social outing or a professional appointment plan well and enjoy the experience.
H.R Maintenance
If you a running late for, or are unavailable to attend a service please do not send a text message. Care professionals need to phone the office and report this to a coordinator, including after hours. It is extremely important that we act immediately – we are not always checking e-mails or texts.
Clients must be informed before we are runing late or missing shifts. Keeping the lines of communication open will alleviate stress for our clients. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
For Eastern Suburbs we wish to thank the staff for taking extra time looking at their rosters for weekend services and reducing the hand back rate. Well Done! Please make sure that you also check addresses, service description and time of starting – then all communication will run smoothly.
THE JBC PROMISE.
At Just Better Care, we promise each of our clients Reliability, Relationship and Results. As care professionals you are an integral part of meeting that promise. We play an honerable role by supporting people through difficult stages of their lives. If we fall short on our promise we leavce vulnerable people exposed and comprimise the Just Better Care name. Whenever there is lateness to a service, refusals, shift hand backs or sub-standard services are provided we tarnish the jBC name. This causes a drop in clients and therefore, work for you as a care professional.
