Coordinator Corner.

Key coordinators invite all care workers to book a reconnection meeting. During the month of May/June we are hoping to open the lines of communication and reconnect Key coordinators with corresponding care workers. We need strength; compatibility and understanding within our internal relationships. We respect your need to give feedback in real time and face to face. Please contact the office to book ASAP if you have not already been assigned a time on your Roster.

We want the Just Better Care family to work in sync, powering forward and achieving as one. Integral to reaching this common goal is abiding by our value to open, honest and frequent communication.

It is imperative that every care worker communicates in a timely fashion to the office and coordinators; just as the office should consistently communicate to Care Workers.

We appreciate that Support Professionals are very busy and work in high pressure situations; the office is here to support you and appreciate all feedback. Each dedicated Support professional helps us toward our ultimate goal of supporting every client to achieve normal, independent living. This is work to be proud of; it also takes consistent maintenance and hard work.

A JBC support professional must update their availability honestly and frequently- and most importantly you must adhere to the availability you supply to your Coordinator.

All shifts within your supplied availability will be assigned to you without confirmation or communication by the coordinators. It is imperative to maintain the 5 star just better Care services that you regularly check your roster and adhere to your availability.

Just Better Care is a family that supports each other and works to a common goal. We appreciate, value and respect the work each Support Professional does; we believe this change is possible and will propel our business into a more automated, productive system.

  • I think confirmation is still needed. In my case I start work from 5:30 am to 10pm in some days. The maximum hours I can work is 10 but sometimes I still push to 11.5 especially if there’s a shortage of staff.

  • Confirmation is still needed. In some instances, some support workers work 7 days a week. They don’t cancel shifts to run some personal errands because they fit in their short breaks.
If it is a permanent shift, support workers are responsible for it, however, if it is one offs. CONFIRMATION is important to avoid any problem.
